Full Stack Developer

High Tech Genesis is seeking multiple Full Stack candidates who have some combination of the qualifications in Cloud technologies, working in a CI/CD team environment. Responsibilities: • Building out the necessary back-end components to provide flexible APIs to the front-end as well as customers, and getting the data necessary using highly performant serverless and cloud native technologies • Build and architect rich AWS Cloud Native applications with AWS API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB • Work with your squad in short sprints to achieve regular business and customer outcomes • Develop and own cloud-native software delivery pipeline to achieve rapid delivery to protection multiple times a day Required Skills and Experience: • Higher level programming languages (Golang, Java, Python) • Front end and web platform technology (React, Node, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, TypeScript) • Application development using cloud native technology such as AWS serverless, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM etc. • SQL/NoSQL • Docker and Kubernetes including AWS EKS, OpenShift, AKS, GKE Desired skills: • 2+ years of continuous development in cloud development ecosystem • Understand CI/CD and how it requires a team wide commitment to testing automation and pipeline development • Ability to communicate verbally and written • ‘Own it’ mentality – Be able to take ownership of a task from inception to completion • Knowledge of AWS services and/or other cloud providers • Understanding of Serverless Framework and related orchestration technologies • Skilled in developing secure code and/or working in a security space • Bachelor of computer science, software engineering or equivalent Note 1: You MUST be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., possess Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or Valid Work Permit) Note 2: High Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
